A futuristic fusion of heavy metal rock and Manga animation, based on the Manga comic strip written by Alan Grant (Judge Dredd) and illustrated by Tony Luke for Kodansha’s million-selling Comic Afternoon anthology monthly.

The year is 2020 AD. CrowCut, an all-girl rock trio, discover the fabled 'Lost Chord' during a gig, and accidentally summon Dominator -- the Dead God of Rock 'n' Roll -- to earth. Chaos and mayhem ensue. Dominator is on the run from his satanic master, Lord Desecrator, with the stolen Key To Hell, and is followed to Earth by fellow demons Extricator, Decimator and Lady Violator, who've been sent to bring him back at all costs.

Cities explode and crowds cheer as Dominator and his band thrash their way to stardom, fighting off a slew of bizarre enemies along the way. But the real battle begins when sinister government forces ally themselves with Lord Desecrator to bring about the Apocalypse itself. Dominator finds himself trying to aid humanity in its struggle against the encroaching Legions of Desecrator.

Character voices are provided by famed horror flick star Ingrid Pitt, Hellraiser’s Doug Bradley, Liza Goddard, rock singer Dani Filth (lead singer of Cradle of Filth), noted director and actor Alex Cox, and others. And it’s all set to the beat of one of the most extreme soundtracks ever heard on an animated movie, including tracks by Cradle of Filth, Killing Mode, Sikth and Synthetic. Dominator is written by Alan Grant and directed by Tony Luke, with new character design by Yasushi Nirasawa.
